what is dvi?

what is dvi and what is the difference from analog
also what do both connections look like? Pins, Plug, i don't know

Well its a Digital Out put on video cards and it makes the picture better and also surports res'es up to like 2000xsomthing. The plugs are normaly white colored and bigger then the standard Sub-d plugs.

Just use google for more info on it, personaly im still using a crt (sub-d plug) so i dont know alot about it.
