What is est. max in NVIDIA Inspector?

I had a Gigabyte GTX 970 that I replaced with another due to coil whine. The previous card showed est. max of 1418 MHz. The new card shows est. max of 1367 MHz.

And does this mean the new card is slower in some way?

Seems like that is you "Estimated Maximum Turbo Boost" clocks. Yes that would be a little slower, but not really noticeable. Is the core clock speed also slower on your new card?

Everything looks exactly the same except est. max, bios version, and card revision. Old card was rev 1.1 with BIOS 84.04.1f.00.fd. New card is rev 1.0 with BIOS 84.04.2f.00.81.

Its not a big deal since your maximum Turbo Boost will vary depending on several factors. Its likely you would have gotten similar Boost clocks on either card.

It does look like they changed the BIOS a bit on the new version. Its also possible that your new catd has a lower ASIC score, which may cause the BIOS to select higher voltages with less overhead for Boost clocks.
