What is faster? 1GB of 1066MHz dual channel ram or 2GB of 800MHz ram

I have a problem and am wondering if you could answer my question

I would say 2gb of 800mhz, because they would be dual channeled and allow more simultaneous access.

The diference between 1066 and 800 isn't significant. Sometimes is the same if you have 1066 or 800, the performance and score on WEI is the same.

Uhm, if your Platform supports Dual channel than and only then will 2GB of 800Mhz be faster since its simultaneous, if your platform supports single channeled than it comes down to the latency also, not just frequency. However higher frequencies are usually faster.
