im having a hard time trying to understand what does ghz and core does to computer.
This is the build that im about to build but i am debating if i should go with AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor or AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz (4.1GHz Turbo) Six-Core
Obviously the fx 8350 is better but i was wondering if the 3.5 ghz with 6 core still give out a good performance
Thank You <3

Solution
more cores share more tasks and finish faster. Higher ghz means it is calculating faster, but also uses more power as a result. You should determine whether you need the more powerful cpu,for the tasks you will do with your pc

Solution
so lets say if im only planning to use this comp for normal video/photo editting, web browsing, a lil gaming would a 6 core 3.5 ghz cpu still get the job done.. Run smooth..??
