I bought an Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 (2023) gaming laptop and it came with Advanced Optimus but it won't work if you plug an external monitor into it. I am assuming its just a deal with performance issues but isn't there a work around, why wouldn't it be able to work?
I am assuming because it needs full support from the card to the screen and for some reason when you connect an external monitor to the laptop it uses only the dedicated GPU, you can't use the integrated graphics with it. I am assuming it's because its just not wired to do that?
