Question What is going on with my monitor? Is this banding?

Hello all, was just watching some youtube and my monitor of a couple years all of the sudden looks like this : (

) I've done some research and I think this is banding but I am not sure what is is or how to fix it. I haven't changed any of the color profiles, and this isnt a display cord issue, as the "banding" is over the built in OSD as well. Is my panel faulty ? Thanks.

thats not banding, looks like just connection issue, like damaged cable

It can’t be a connection issue, because like stated above, it’s on the settings OSD, which isn’t sent over the cable
