Question What is going on with this GPU Fan?

Brand new 3070 (ZOTAC RTX 3070 TWIN EDGE) that I managed to bag at MSRP last week and I noticed that one of the fans (GPU Fan 2) sometimes shows an insane spike in RPM. It shoots up into the millions! My PC is still on the ground so it's obviously not spinning that fast and I've tried HWINFO and MSI Afterburner and both show the same thing, so I don't think it's down to the software.

Did you set the fan curve in MSI afterburner? If not try setting it up now, should be able to control the RPM if you manually set the curve to a more moderate ramp up.
