Question What is going on with Western Digital

Few years back I returned a 1TB black HDD, they kept it saying the internal serial didn't match one of label. I buy WD Blue SSD yesterday at BB,
I go to WD site to register the drive and serial number can not be found. Took pics of sticker showed them proof of purchase....Should I just return it to BB ?
I do not trust WD so much these days.

If the problem affects your SSD's warranty, you should return it.

There are a lot of fakes in the market, even from reputable sources.
