What is holding this build back from being a good gaming computer?

GPU:NVIDIA Geforce GT730 2GB
8 GB RAM
350 Watt Power Supply

I cant even play skyrim on high at 60 fps which my tech friend said i should be able to do. Also how do i know what i can upgrade too.

Power supply make and model?

2 x 4gb 1600 ram?

What CPU temps - idle and gaming? How measured?

Both your CPU and GPU are holding it back.
You'd want at least FX-8320 w/ GTX 750 Ti or R9 270.

Your GPU is the weakest part. Easiest upgrade is to get 750 TI.
R9 270-270x or GTX 960 are better but you will need an PSU upgrade also. Upgrading the CPU to six-octa core will also increase performance but best performance boost will be from video upgrade.

ATX 350 Power Supply. How do i know what i can upgrade to in terms of the type of power supply and gpu/cpu upgrades?
Also what makes the gtx 750 ti better then mine? GDDR5?
