Hiya, I have a Homework for my computer science class about "Hosting" and i have no idea what it is. I have to create a presentation about it including...

• Can you find a simple definition of the system?
• What is the purpose the system?
• How does the system operate/how is it constructed?
• What benefits does the system provide?
• What problems can the system cause?
• Are you able to find a diagram to help visually demonstrate the system?

If you guys could explain this to me then it would be great as im struggling pretty bad with this...

"Hosting" is super generic and broad.
They could be referring to hosting an online app. Or hosting data. Or hosting ISP services.
The list could go on and on forever.
Don't you have a text book or something that talks about what they define as hosting.

When my mom stays in our guest room I am hosting but I'm fairly certain that's not what they are looking for.
Do research and your own homework. Ask specific questions not.. Do my homework for me.
