Question What is killing my hardware? Pls help

Hi,

My SSD died on May 2020.

Now one of my Ram sticks died yesterday.

My PC also sometimes reboots once or twice after starting. This issue first occured after my SSD died and worsened three days ago, where i saw up to 5 reboots after starting my PC, than my ram died.
Now i took my GPU and Soundcard out. The reboots stoped, but after putting just my soundcard in again, the reboots occured.

My specs are: GTX 1080Ti
i7 7700k
dark rock pro4
Asus Prime Z270-A
CX650M
Soundblaster Z
G skill DDR4 2400mhz
HDD 1TB Baracuda
SSD 240GB MXCrucial

In another forum i was told that the PSU shouldnt be paired with a 1080ti and i should get a new one, which i will, just want another opinion on that matter, because buying another PSU is going to be expensive.

I think that your PSU is adequate, I have that GPU on a comparable 650W.
Leave the sound card out for a while (use the onboard) and see if you have any more issues; its driver could be your issue.

I used the PC for about two days now, without the soundcard and the GPU everything works fine. I dont have the Sound driver installed. That might be the problem. I am just worried about the dying parts. Is this normal? This is my first self build PC, which i build in July 2018.

So i took the risk and put the GPU back in without the soundcard, no reboots or any other issues.

But could a PSU be faulty and kill other parts?
