[SOLVED] What is laptop rtx3050 75W compared to a desktop gpu?

Its 4gb 75W 3050
I am familiar with desktop gpu position but not laptop, where does it sit between?

Notebook GPUs are usually about 25-33% worse than their desktop equivalent iirc. As for mobile GPUs, apparently below a 1660Ti but above a 1650Ti.

This is so wierd, I have a 970 desktop using and a laptop 3050 , but 3050 feels way faster 20-50%

Shouldnt 970 oc to 1450mhz , be roughly same as1650s/ 1060 3gb?

By faster, in what situations? Also what's the CPUs used in the desktop and laptop?

In games, usually 10+ fps faster and even on higher settings
Pc is r7 1700 at 3.8ghz
And laptop just 10300h
Both 16g ram

The Ryzen performs a little worse, especially in single core performance, and can be affected by slower memory speeds.

It can be. Though I'll retract that the Ryzen will perform better in a fully multithreaded task. However, most games still don't put out enough work to substantially saturate 8 threads, so the Ryzen doesn't have any real advantage here.
