I use smartphon mainly for browser.(not gaming) i want to know what is more important cores or ghz? I have choice between 1.7ghz w dual core. Or 1.2ghz w quad core

Solution
The true answer is it probably varies depending on the phone. Some can't utilize quad core effectively. Others can. But if browsing is your main activity, it probably doesn't matter much. Your bottleneck will probably be your carrier's network speed, not the phone hardware. Gaming apps tend to be the apps that want to utilize multiple cores anyway and since you don't do that, I'd go with the one that has a longer battery life.

I have a dual-core Kindle Fire, and most of the time it is pretty fast, but I have used quad cores and they are defenitly faster in browsing, more cores can handle more processes
