So i am looking to upgrade my laptop's ram from a single ddr4 4 gb stick to dual channel 8gb. It has an i3 1005G1.
Basically, in Task Manager it shows that my ram speed is 2667 MHz . However, when i open CPU-Z it shows an uncore freq of 3193 MHz rounded off to 3200. In DRAM freq it shows 1330 MHz. I wanted to confirm my ram speed like is it 2667 or something else. Also the 1005G1 does support ddr4 3200 so does it mean that i can upgrade to 2 new 3200MHz sticks if i want if already not this freq.

1333 x 2 = 2666MHz effective. (DDR = Double Data Rate).

There are 2 RAM tabs in CPUz. The "memory" tab should show whats currently running. The SPD tab shows what speeds the sticks can run and other identifying info.

Since yes, the 1005G1 does support 3200MHz, you SHOULD be able to do 3200MHz sticks as long as the mobo isn't limiting that.
