I need to move to a laptop for work, so I am considering selling my new build. I have an idea of what I want to sell it for, but I want an unbiased sanity check.

It's usually worth about half of what you paid for it, depending on sell date. The longer you wait out to sell, the less it will be worth. Sometimes you'll get more money if you strip it and sell the parts individually.
