So I've been trying to do my own research on this, but I'm not getting a clear answer from anything I read.
Currently I run a dedicated gtx 550ti graphics card in conjunction with my intel i5 3550.
But as with most cpu's, there is a small amount of integrated graphics power- as in the i5 3550, it has the hd 2500.
I've seen the hd 2500 standalone play games like battlefield 3 on low settings and it blows my mind. With decent FPS!
So when I play games, are both "gpus" being used? Or is the 2500 left unused since there is a dedicated gpu?
... sigh.. I should go to tech school...
