Something is changing the permission on any directory I use so that I can't access the files in them. Based on some trigger it blue screens and says the computer must power down. Then there is a count down and computer reboots. When it comes up as I try to access a file the computer displays a window that says I don't have permission to the files in the directory. If I on ok or cancel buttons it changes all the permissions on files in the directory so that I no longer have permission to access. Even with admin permission. Also F8 key no longer works!

Solution
Bug Check 0x4E: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

This indicates that the page frame number (PFN) list is corrupted.

Most likely cause based on your description is bad RAM. Download/run memtest86+ and check to see if you get any memory failures.
