what is ''power loading'' option in bios? i have a gigabyte b360m gaming 3 aorus and this option appears under ''power'' section . interesting that in the motherboard manual this option is missing , and it doesn't even appear in the screenshots with the options from the ''power'' section.
it's like it was not there and just lately poped there out of nowhere after my pc loop reset for a few times.

IIRC, it was something Gigabyte implemented years ago to assist with C-states and older, incompatible PSUs....
I think it had something to do with keeping a decent load on the PSU, to avoid triggering a shutdown under certain circumstances..... But honestly, I'm not 100% confident in my recollection.

interesting , but could that setting pop up out of nowhere under ''power'' section ? i don't remember seeing it before , and it doesn't appear in the mobo's manual ? also should be enabled? i do have all the C states on AUTO in BIOS , erp is enabled as well . now the ''power loading'' is on AUTO , really don't know the difference between ''AUTO'' and ''ENABLED''

If there are no problems appearing, I wouldn't worry about it.

Could it appear from nowhere? Well, no. Either it was there from the launch BIOS, or a BIOS update brought it in. Given it's not commented on in the motherboards manual... I'm thinking a BIOS update probably did it.

Since there's an option for "auto" (ie, handled for you), I'd leave it set to that. I'll try to find more info on it for you...

well my pc behaved for a short time strange, after a psu change . later that day , after trying to power on the pc it didn't want to start , pressed the power button several times. had to remove power cord , after that the pc went on a just to reset loop for like 5-6 times . shutdown by holding power button and powerd on again and finaly worked . i though that setting might help
