Installing SD card in Alcatel PIXI one touch.

It seems that the card has to be reformatted. Is that correct?

Does it automatically download new programs into the SD card?

Check your phone specifinaction, it should say what is the maximum size of SD cards supported. The phone will reformat the card if necessary.

As to whether the card will be used for new apps - you should check the settings in App settings.
