What is sasdifsv saskutil

I just ran an AVG diagnostic tool that highlighted some problems. Two related to SASDIFSV and SASKUTIL respectively. When I went into Device Manager they were listed but weren't then and when I went to the Driver it said they weren't available. Do I need them? Could they be related to my continuously getting a message saying there has been a technical error and Windows has shut down? It has been doing this quite a lot recently and it can't be good for my computer to be continuously shut down like this. Any help appreciated. (I'm not remotely computer savvy so please any explanation v. simple. Thanks
