[Need Pc Help]

I have a camera board (3 layer) that a customer wants to be converted to wireless.
How would I add an SDIO chip to said camera board to give it wireless functionality


Criteria: Reliable with a strong connection

Not nearly enough information to even begin to answer that question.

I don't even think SDIO is the appropriate protocol to use to get data into a modern wireless interface.

Any time and money spent on this is better spend on an existing wireless camera.

The camera is for welding thats usually cabled but a wireless version is requested. I cant buy a wireless camera since these are proprietary due to the high heat

You would want a wired camera in a welding environment. Arc welding creates a lot of electronic interference.

Even so, there are certainly high temperature cameras out there. Just not going to be cheap.

You risk damaging the camera you have to try and make it wireless. (Going to need power regardless, so there will be cables)

SDIO is used for (possibly old) Bluetooth modems. Not up to date with supply chain..

Not really contributing to this topic, more just to nitpick.

SDIO is simply using the SD card interface to use it as a serial I/O port. So whatever data rate the SD card controller can operate at, the SDIO interface can also operate at that speed.
