I have searched google and this website trying to find what the SPS in RAM is. I can't seem to find a page that offers a good explaination of what it stands for or what it is. I assume its ____ per second? Samples per second, perhaps? Can anyone help me out with some information? I often see it as SPS-DIMM.

It is HP brand. It's what we have in stock at my place of work. Part L25264-001

It is labeled as Memory, 16GB, SO-DIMM, DDR4, SPS-MEM, 1.2v, 2666 MHz in our system. Typically this is copied and pasted from the source it was purchased, so it must've been labeled that at one time. Now when I look up that part from HP's Catalog i get SKO-MEM, SODIMM 16GB 1.2v DDR4-2666. I have not seen the SKO-MEM abbreviation before either, but it sounds like these might be HP specific labels?
