What is the best 16gb ram set for gaming? 1600mhz

I have an 8gb set now with 1600Mhz and was wondering if an 16gb 1600Mhz would make games run any better, and what set is the best?

If your games can utilize more than 8GB, they will run better on 16GB.
Generally, 8GB is still enough for modern gaming.
The best 1600MHz kit, would be one with lowest timings.

The faster the ram the more performance, IF your MB and CPU will support it.
16GB v 8gb will not ramp up performance. Some AAA games,certain apps and multitasking require 16GB.
List your MB, CPU and budget for a recommendation.

Corsair CMY16GX3M2A1866C9 (Ver 4.21)(XMP) 16GB ( 2x 8GB ) are very good at 1866MHz and can be got from newegg around $80.

What experience do you need Bajass.?

1866MHz is slightly faster than 1600MHz however these are good compatible 1600MHz kits at 16GB as requested. 😛

The B85 chipset supports up to 1600, would suggest going with a 2x8GB set, (4x4GB put's more stress on the MC), something in prob 1600/9 like the GSkill Snipers F3-1600C9D-16GSR
