What is the best 27" gaming/entertainment monitor for under £300?

Need some ideas for great 27" gaming/entertainment (movies) monitor for under £300, looking for 1440p or the best 1080p monitor possible!

Make sure you ask them to mark it as $170 value or you'll pay a crap tonne of import tax. At that value it only gets a 30 quid hit at customs. Good for gaming because it will do 96Hz (or 120Hz if you don't mind diminished colours), and movies since its good good colour it being PLS.

They are Samsung panels in a cheap case. No stand adjustment, so speakers (atleast not ones you'd want to use), no OSD, no scaler (can't use it on a console). Same panel as a Asus PB278Q, just cheaped out in other areas, and better in some, since it takes input straight to the panel theres pretty much no input lag and its capable of overclocking. Got two couldn't be happier with them.
