What is the best AMD and Intel CPU to pair with an RTX 2070 ?

I play every type of games.

FPS, MOBA, MMO

After CPU, I'll know the socket, then I can look for a motherboard.

1080p.

Currently the I9 9900k on the Intel side.
2700x on the AMD side.
9900k > 2700x though.
This doesn't matter as much if you're playing at 1440p. Even less so at 4k.

Even I7 9700k or I5 9600k will be fine.
Don't bother with threadripper, 2700x will do more for cheaper.
