I am having some higher temp. in system.
A friend suggested updating bios. He thinks bios reporting higher temp than actual. As I only updated BIOS when ryzen 2 support for AM4 released. So this is the first update for gen 2 support. I guess they have fixed some issue after that. But as of now. there is 4 new BIOS update after Version 4023. The recent one is for gen 3 support (if I'm not wrong)
What to do? Which version should I flash or just get the latest one? As I have read many times that a bios update is a risky thing to do.

Solution
What BIOS Version do you have Now ???

IMO this is most likely the best version for a 2600:
Version 4207
2018/12/1 38.19 MBytes
PRIME B350M-K BIOS 4207
1.Update AGESA 1006
2.Improve compatibility and performance for Athlon™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics Processors

The BIOS with AGESA 1006 seems to work very well for me BUT I have a different MB than you.
If it's interuppted during the update process, weird bugs may be the least of your worries. There s a possibility of completely bricking the mobo. But it's rare from what I've read, and honestly apart from removing the drive while updating, interruption shouldn't happen. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in here, but I wouldn't worry to much about it. Just don't mess with the pc while it's updating.

updating a BIOS is almost foolproof now on modern motherboards but it's always best to only update it when you know you are having problems. but make sure to read the changelog for the BIOS update to make sure it addresses the problems you are having

on the other hard most BIOS updates these days have security updates for exploits that affect both AMD and intel CPU's
