What is the best budget CPU for gaming?

I plan to spend between 80-120 dollars for a CPU,Can you guys recommend me a good CPU in this price range.

Intel Core i3 series, AMD FX 4 and 6 series. AMD Athlon series.

Leaves room to improve on the CPU further down the line due to the socket.

Has 2 physical but 4 logical cores and hyperthreading.

Will work well if coupled with a decent GPU, which is always much more important than the CPU for game performance.

I would go with an i3 because not only does it perform well in games, but you can easily upgrade to an i5 or i7 in the future.
