What is the best budget gaming monitor?

Looking for a monitor to use with my xbox one and pc (gtx 970), at least 21inch and 100 - 150 euro.

23", 1080p. IPS panel, with a 6ms response time, which is decent enough.

The 27" monitor has 2 hdmi inputs + vga input and built in speakers. The 24" has 1 hdmi input + dvi + vga and speakers. Since you will be using it for console game also, I would suggest the 27".

It is a little too expensive, its 190 euro where i live and i am looking to get 2 and have a dual monitor set up. I was considering the ASUS VX228h, can you tell me if this is a good monitor? or the ASUS VX238H

AOC are decent enough. ASUS probably have the better QC, but the larger of the two is ~175EUR and outside your budget, and neither are IPS panels.

So really, it comes down to budget. For the nicest panel, with a reasonable response time etc, some of the better known manufacturers aren't quite in budget.

So you either sacrifice the panel etc (I wouldn;t), or you look to a more 'non-standard' manufacturer.

Considering it's a new monitor, you can always return/replace if you end up with defects etc.
