What is the best budget RAM for gaming these days?

Hey guys, I'm building a gaming setup and the motherboard I've chosen supports ddr4 at up to 2400 MHz.

It likely supports more than 2400MHz though it won't matter much. See pcpartpicker.

I personally would spend a bit more for something like THIS (just because I'm not sure about reliability):

*When building, just go into the BIOS and select "XMP" then save. it should assign the optimal profile. again, i suspect the motherboard supports more than 2400MHz but you don't need it for Intel (AMD Ryzen needs higher though)
