what is the best cpu cooler i can get? . i'm also looking for a new case, it must be for top performance

cpu: Intel Core i7-8700K 3.7GHz
motherboard: ASUS Prime Z370-A
gpu: ASUS ROG Strix GeForce 8gb
ram: Kingston HyperX FURY DDR4 2666MHz 4x16gb
case: Fractal Design Meshify
power: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 80plus Gold

Solution
That cooler typically has some fitment issues with memory. Though I think the ram you have chosen is fairly low-profile. You'll probably have to clip the fans on it a little higher. Keep in mind that makes the cooler taller.

You say you don't like it, but what don't you like? Personally, I would have preferred a straight mesh on the front of that case instead of the pattern they put in it, then I would have no problem with it. There are hundreds of cases to pick from, you have to have something in mind to narrow it down. More performance just basically means more airflow, and there are certainly cases out there designed for airflow. A lot comes down to the fans you put in it. With a NH-D15 all you need is air getting to the CPU cooler...

Meshify is a decent choice for airflow. What does it not have that you want in a case?

I like the Phanteks Enthoo Pro M myself. A good mix of airflow and water cooling options. CES just happened, so there are a lot of new cases on the market. But appearances have really been driving the market lately rather than performance, so there are certainly more pretty ones to pick from than practical ones.

As for a cooler, are you wanting Air cooling, All-in-one water cooling, or custom water cooling. There are some massive air coolers (Around $80) that rival the performance of the cheaper AIO coolers, and some quite decent all-in-ones that are all copper/brass and come with excellent fans. (Think $150 or so). And custom cooling will mean at least $300 in parts, though that will get you the 'best' cooling.

i am thinking about going for the air cooling but i also want to know what "all-in-one" i should get for a top performance. I wanted to change my case to complement the fans and have a lower temperature.

Well, a bit tricky without knowing exactly what you are looking for, and how much you want to spend. Case will dictate what type of CPU cooler will fit. Either due to an air cooler's height or the size of the radiator for liquid cooling.

A big beefy air cooler that is fairly color neutral: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/F3gzK8/be-quiet-dark-rock-pro-4-505-cfm-cpu-cooler-bk022
Still considered a contender for the best cooling/noise ratio for air: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/4vzv6h/noctua-cpu-cooler-nhd15
A modern contender: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/xFw323/cryorig-cpu-cooler-crr1a

A common high end water cooler choice 280mm: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/2RdFf7/nzxt-kraken-x62-rev-2-982-cfm-liquid-cpu-cooler-rl-krx62-02
360mm version: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/nGjJ7P/nzxt-kraken-x72-liquid-cpu-cooler-rl-krx72-01
Similar offerings from Corsair and Cooler Master if you like the look of them better.

My personal choice for an all in one, allows for custom expansion: http://www.swiftech.com/drive-x3-aio.aspx

The version I have is much older though. You can also get similar expandable and even pre-filled loops from the likes of EKWB.com and others.

These would all fit in your Meshify case. You could simply swap out the fans if you wanted them all to match.

As for a case, sky's the limit. If you want more options you can always go full tower, though these days I don't see the appeal. Cases in that $100 range are going to have similar options that the Meshify has.

If I were case shopping right now to replace my Phanteks, I might look at be quiet! silent series. Some of them appeal to me. I've also liked Bitfenix in the past, but that was a little different build for me where performance wasn't as big a factor. Fractal, NZXT, Phanteks, CoolerMaster all pretty big names in mass marketed cases. There are certainly crazier options out there, but then you are looking at the hundreds of dollars. Normally, I would say Caselabs for crazy stuff, but I think they just went out of business due to imported metal going up.

I'm always looking for top performance and my budget is 450+ usd.

i think i'm gonna buy this cooler (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00L7UZMAK/ref=ox_sc_a...) is this the one you showed me right? am i going to have problems with my ram? because it takes up space and RAM may not fit (4x16gb)

and about a new case. what one i should get? (i don't like mine at all) So everything can fit perfectly, it must have a good ventilation and improve my performance i guess. i don't mind spending a little bit more of money to improve it. I just have to choose carefully

With a NH-D15 all you need is air getting to the CPU cooler and exhaust out the rear. That is most cases.

At this point you have roughly $350 to spend on case and fans. Pretty easy to blow $150 on premium fans from Noctua if you want more of those. Still $200 for a chassis.

So here is an example: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/yLvRsY/corsair-case-760tblack

When I look at this one, I see good airflow with the unobstructed fans in the front. 3 5 1/4" drive bays (a bit outdated, but some people still use them) Full coverage window/door. Which displays the internals even in places that aren't all that interesting. And it is enormous being a full tower.

This one comes with RGB fans in the front, quite a clash with the functionality of Noctua products (Though I understand they do sell black fans now beyond the old industrial ones they carried) But aside from the right angle turn for the air to get in, they left a lot of room for airflow.

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/KnWrxr/phanteks-ph-es515ptg_swt-atx-mid-tower-case-ph-es515ptg_swt
This is basically my case with a white interior and white accents. I found it appealing because it can do air cooling, water cooling, and most everything internal is removable. It does support a 5 1/4 drive bay, but I have simply taken it out.

Then you start getting into exotics like these. This keeps the parts that make the majority of the heat separate from everything else and can make for a clean look.

Or a practical wall/mount test bench with literally no air restrictions at all.
