I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and CPU and I have £300 towards it. I want to make sure that neither component is bottlenecked and I'm honestly not sure what the best option is. I have a few ideas but I think I should make sure that I consider all options before spending any money. I have an lga1151 socket on my motherboard and 8gb of RAM encase you needed to know.

so if anyone has some suggestions then feel free to tell me (and if you don't work with pounds any currency will do as long as its not too different)

thanks in advance :D

Selling your G4560 & 650 Ti should give you enough money to get a nice 250+gb SSD for your OS and a game or two with longer loading screens if you don't have one already.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from Carl Patrick : "which CPU and GPU combo is best in your opinion?"

so I'm going to use £300 to upgrade my pc which currently has 8gb if RAM, a Pentium g4560 and an evga 650 ti boost. I've been recommended the i5 7500 with a 1050 ti but quite a few people also use the i3 6100 or 7100 with a 3gb 1060 and I have no idea what is better. I haven't seen enough benchmarks for the two to make a reasonable decision so id appreciate it of someone with more experience with pcs to help me out on this one.
