[SOLVED] What is the best CPU cooler can I get for my build?

Hello everyone,

I’m kind of new to PC building, and I’ve recently been wanting to update my cpu cooler from the stock cooler, and I really don’t know what to get.

Most of the stuff either don’t fit in my case, or won’t work on my motherboard. And I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I’ve been wanting to get like the hyper 212 RGB black edition, but sadly it doesn’t look like it would fit in my case. And all of the similar products won’t fit either.

Currently I have the following :

CPU : 5 2600

MOBO : Asus Prime B450M-A/CSM (link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FKV5HWJ)

There are many Types of CPU coolers out there (Liquid Cool...Water Cooling or basic air Cooling.It depends on your budget and what interest you and how much you are willing to pay for these types of coolers.
Can you list your current CPU cooler specs.

The masterbox 5 lite states a max cooler height of 163mm, the 212 will fit as will a myriad of other 120mm tower coolers.

What's your country and budget??

The 212 will only mount vertically, it's what turned me off of it.
The Deep Cool Gammaxx 400 is a great little cooler that won't break the bank and will be plenty for your CPU. I also have a 2600. Easily gets around 30 at idle and it's in the 40's with short spikes to 50 while gaming. It's way quieter than the stock Wraith. Highly recommend, tons of reviews on the web and Youtube as well.

The 212 rgb black actually mounts fine on AM4 boards, not much in common with the older 212 really.
That said, I cant argue about the gammaxx 400 if it's available.

First of all, thanks for the response.
Second, wouldn’t it be a tight fit? That’s what I’m afraid of, I don’t know if it will be touching the panel’s glass making it not closing or such.
