What is the best CPU To get with this Mobo - MSI A58M-E35 Micro ATX Form Factor

I'd say the best would be A8 6600k, since this motherboard supports only Athlon/A series CPUs. Considering it is a VERY old architecture, I would upgrade the motherboard and RAM and then add a modern CPU like the i3 8350k

Well I’m building a new computer already but my friend wants to upgrade my old one without upgrading the motherboard and ram he just wants to improve the cpu so is that a possibility? Right now it has a a10 7850k apu

In that case, the A10 7890K would be the max, but it will really have no noticeable effect. Instead, spend the money on a new system, as this motherboard is terribly outdated.
