what is the best gaming cpu for 100-150$?

My current PC is :
CPU is Intel G3220
GPU is GTX 750 ti 4gb
6gb Ram
i clearly can fee G3220 is bad CPU

i usually plays World of Warcraft, Dota 2 and some PS3 gen games, but seem cannot reach atleast the optimal setting for my GPU

well ofcourse it's because the weak CPU

so yeah, what the best CPU ranging from 100-150$
i am not want to buy another motherboards, so only LG1150 socket only :s

Doesn't offer many more improvements over the 4170, and costs quite a significant amount more. 😱
On top of that, the clock speeds are only 0.1GHz faster, and the 4170 has a higher max operating temp from memory.

thats not a very good deal and a 8320 is just as good when overclocked and cheaper
and the op said he needs a lga 1150 cpu

I'm with Logain here, a used 4590 off ebay or Amazon will be your best bet on finding a performance CPU for that price.
I'd expect them to retail right on the 150 mark or just below.
Hell, even a 4460 wouldn't be too bad.

Pointless, he already has a G3220, and it will still bottleneck his graphics card due to the cores on the pentium. He will need an i3 at the least.
