What is the best pc for £600, can be either AMD or intel based. Seen CPU prices drop aswell as GPU prices. PSU just has to do the job and be fairly reliable and doesn't have to be above bronze rated like gold as this is a budget.

Ryzen performance is heavily dependent on RAM speed. 3000/3200mhz is the sweet spot. Also dual channel is faster and you can still run the pc if one stick fails.
You already have a HDD. Running your OS on a SSD will hugely improve performance.
Better case and monitor.

I have a few questions though! My questions are whether all the parts would be compatible for sure and whether I need to buy any cables etc. I currently have a HD so I would like to hook up that with the build. I wouldn't do much overclocking, with that board, or with that PSU, even with a good cooler. Only downside to that case, upgrade wise, is you would have to stick with M-ATX boards. Not that big of a deal really, imo. If you can afford to spend the money it would take to overclock, you would be better of spending that on a better GPU.

Sorry Hellfire13, but I think the Riotoro one looks nicer aesthetically so will stick to that, as for the parts I will stick to the ones you recommended as they seem a great value. But can you recommend a full size atx motherboard that supports the following parts currently on the pc part picker in the link for about £65?

Get a ryzen 2600, get the ssd , ram, msi board is nice it all looks good, but not the 1050ti over a 570. 570 get as much as 50% better performance.

Almost the same exact price. A 570 is basically a 1060 3gb that is slightly slower, it's like 10% on avg. Please look at reviews comparing the 2, you can spend like 20% more on a far superior gpu that can handle 60fps 1080p gaming which the 1050ti really can't unless you turn it down a bit.

570 was the best value when it came out you could find them for like 150$ u.s and went toe to toe with 200+$ 1060s and rx 480s. It's basically a poor man's 580 or 1060. Even if you plan to jump to like a 2070 in a year it's still not worth it based on how little extra you pay vs the performance you gain

It's not urgent, but you will want a cooler unless you don't mind the gpu running at 71c+ often while gaming. Decent cooler will keep it in the 50s during heavy load. It would be fine till you can afford it but you may want to within 3 months or so

Could not agree with you more. Think the 1050ti is a worse card for the price and I heard that Nvidia were making the cards slower. Thank you.

So that's the current build your going with? It won't hurt to get a 550w and should cost about the same or a few bucks more. Give yourself a little more room. Amd cpu and gpu use more power than Intel / nvidia.

Maybe someone knows for sure if 450 gives you any room here, but I think it might be a bit close. Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I don't see people really ever buying 450w. Personally I have never owned anything smaller than 550w. Both of these are great if you go with 550w, be quiet makes some really nice parts, but at least the Seasonic, it's modular and cost 3 more, but it's also gold rated vs bronze.

Yes tankstar, it will work.

Make sure to register on MSI website and get any promos, they have stuff you won't see on the box. I got a free Venom mouse pad, medium sized and a Venom stainless steel large water bottle, 100% free shipping and all.

You should by this motherboard instead and it's almost the same price. Look at the heatsink on the bottom right top middle and top left, this keeps the board much cooler and will allow the cpu to adjust it's speeds higher by having better overclocking ability and cooling. Even if you aren't planning to OC, the cpu does it automatically. The better the parts are, the cooler it runs, etc.. the higher it can auto boost the clocks when needed.

So here is one small problem, this mobo is definitely better and will perform better and last longer, but only 2 ram slots. If you buy 8gb now and go to 16gb you will lose the 8gb. If you can go to 16gb now then 100% buy this board instead and your set. You won't need more than 16gb for gaming within the lifetime of this build. You will move to ddr5 before you need more than 16gb.

I personally own this one below and can confirm for certain (checked it via taiphoon burner) it is Samsung b die, plopped it in and running at 3200mhz no problem..

If you only want to get 8gb now then consider one of this below. It cost more, but it's worth it. Not having any cooling on the board really makes a difference, plus the overall quality. The one you have now has some cooling, so it's not the end of the world, but considering you can keep a good motherboard for years I believe it's worth it. Plus it can help extend the processor effectiveness by overclocking better. Even if you don't OC now, the way it auto boost and the ability to OC later to extend the CPU a bit is nice.
