I need a gaming pc on a 600$ budget i need the best of the best things ill buy my own ssd so can someone find me a motherboard with 4 or more usb slots and it allows 3 sata ports 1 for dvd 1 for harddrive and 1 for ssd i need this pc to play most games on high and last me a long time so basically what i said thanks!!!!

High will be pushing it with that budget, just so we start off on the same page. You will have to cut corners in order to do the build, and you CERTAINLY won't have a future proof PC at the end of it. Just as an example, as few years ago i bought a FX8350, 16GB of the cheapest reliable DDR3 1600Mz I could find, a really bad MSI motherboard (970A G46) to cut costs, threw in a LiteOn optical drive and came out at $300. That price tag does not include: OS ($99+), PSU, GPU ($200+), case, cooler (if avoiding the stock one at least upgrade the thermal compound), extra fans (if needed), HDD/SSD etc. It is frankly quite difficult to build a really well balanced PC at that price.

EDIT: Please don't spam. Spamming results in a user or IP based ban, keeping you off the site.

I changed it i need a 600$ but read the description and its none of ur business leave me alone i really need help its my first build and i want it perfect im scared if i dont have everything correctly or gonna ruin it some guy sayus i3 i watch a vid and i3 is gay i5 is best so plz leave me alone ok?

The i5 is better, but with a $600 budget an i5 of any meaningful caliber would be nearly unattainable. Pretty much every one is here to help, but not panicking and patience help us do that.

I am going to go grab some chow, after which I will piece together a preliminary build.

Im trying not to spam its just i need the best things so it can last long then ill clean it when it gets dirty can u or find someone else to do this cuz i rlly need the help dont take it offensive to u btw if i hurt u but im just saying i really need the things i said in the description and im trying not to spam

ok ty

to be honest with that budget, i doubt it will last that long or play at high settings (on heavy games)

also, how long it will last depends on you also. are you ok with med-low settings? if so, then it will last a good while. but if you want max settings on every game, then no

Yeah, I would advise using the holy grail of used PC parts..... CRAIGSLIST. As long as you don't end up in the "causal encounters" section 99% of the time you will have good luck 😀 I scored a Galaxy GTX 670 GC V2, a 670 built on a 680 circuit board that turbo's like a banshee. It's nuts. It actually outperforms the stock 680. That cost me $140. Heck, you might even find a partially complete system on there. Just don't expect to buy a shiny new 980TI with that budget. Shoot for maybe 600 or 700 series cards.

so how much money do i need to last long and play most games on high or max i just hope its around 1000 or under mate.

well, depending on the budget, maybe 2yrs? and it depends on the game that you play also.
if you are ok with medium then things will last longer.

just to give an idea, when i play bf4, i only use med (with some high sometimes), just so i could have a consistent 100fps (i have a 120hz) as opposed to max setting with barely 60fps

$1000 would get you a very well rounded computer.
