Question What is the best gpu for i5 3470

Hey I have an old pc that i'm enjoying in the past 4 years but I think now is the time for an upgrade ..
I5 3470
8GB RAM
R9 270 X 2GB
that is my current hardware .
I want to get better preformances at gaming becuase thats my main purpose of the pc
I wish to spent around 450$ max for the best gpu that can fit in withought causeing a bottle neck .

What is the make and model of your PSU and how old is it? You should also state the make and model of your chassis just so that we/you don't run into clearance(and thermal) issues.

You might not want to spend 450USD on that system, rather invest on buying a new platform with a Ryzen on it. Just an FYI to not waste your money.

Usually the GTX 1060 or RX580 pairs well with the i5 3470.

i have seasonic 520w PSU and if it can be around 100-200 it will be the best but I want to feel the diffrence

isnt the RX 580 will use more power from the system and because of that the GTX 1060 is better ?
I mean my whole system is allmost 5 years old and I want to upgrade my GPU withought haveing to change somthing later because my new gpu is too powerfull for example or other things like that ...
