After the gpu shortages(every gpu at msrp), im thinking about buying a gpu to mine just for fun and also earing some cash.
What gpu(price at msrp) would be the best gpu to mine under $200?

You are asking after a product that doesn't exist. There is no late model $200 MSRP GPU, at all.

You have to go all the way back to RX580 or 5500XT to get a decent GPU for $200.

Current street price for an RX580 is $400 for the 4GB version, $650 for the 8GB version, and the 5500XT is about $750.

On the Nvidia side, GTX1650, street price $400.

Pretty much at that price forget about mining. Which is just fine with me with people taking all the fair priced cards.

It will be very hard to find any GPU for under $200, and it will be used, and at least a few years old. It will also suck for mining, and will probably be very inefficient due to age, so it might not make you money mining anyway.
