I don't have a setup yet as I am new to pc. I am wanting to build a gaming pc with a monitor, mouse, and keyboard for $1500. I had just budgeted $600 for the monitor and graphics card not being sure of how much to spend on them. Any help with a $1500 build of that type?

depends on what you want. right now is a bad time to buy a graphics card. it would be very easy to say $150 on a standard 1080p 60hz popular model and then $450 on a gtx1070. but with the rx400 coming out in the next couple weeks its up in the air. it looks like the rx400 might become the best bang for buck gpu if it really only costs $200. for many the rx400 might offer enough performacne which would leave room for a higher end monitor like a high refresh 120hz or a 1440p panel. this also depends on the kind of games you want to play.

And add to this the RX 480 which should be $229 for the 8 gig model . Available tomorrow .
The ultra wide screen transforms gaming experience . Much more peripheral vision

Definitely do not buy on of the older graphics cards . Performance is similar but the price is much higher for the last generation models

Te Hyper mobo will allow BCLK Overclocking of the non-K chip. the 1070 and 1440P monitor go together perfectly. The monitor is an IPS panel, 4ms response time, with built-in speakers. 480 GB SSD plus 2 TB HDD is plenty of storage. a 500W gold PSU is good even for overclocking (the system uses only 365W stock)
