I know pretty much nothing about AMD's current offerings, but for Nvidia cards based on your current spec I would suggest a 4070 Ti Super or a 3080 Ti; anything less isn't going to feel like much of an upgrade, but anything more would be wasted on a 60Hz 1440p monitor. (Edit: just looked up the monitor specs; seems like it's a 75Hz 4K panel so I'm curious why you're running it at 60/1440?)

Not sure I would trust a CX850 to run a 4090.

RTX 2070 is a 175W card.

4070 Super would be a significant upgrade at $600 and is a 220W card.
4070 Ti Super would be next at $800 and is a 285W card.

I would probably stop there unless you want to spend an additional $120 or so on a decent PSU.

erm i didnt even know i was lol

It depends on the power supply and its connectors and Watts supplied in total as well as how much height and width is available. The RTX 4090 for example takes up 3 PCIe slots on a motherboard and uses the 16-pin connector that has been melting. I bought one and returned it as the adapter cable provided from Nvidia would not work with my 2020 HP tower computer power supply cables.

This is a good source of performance data to use in selecting a new board.

Okay so I think the best would get a new PSU not sure what one is best for RTX 4070 super ti? I think that will be the one I get and save for I bought a hdmi awhile back but didn't even use it I don't think as I'm not sure if it's suppose to be smaller hdmi or whatever I'm just rambling now 😂😂

EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 BLACK GAMING, 08G-P4-1071-KR, 8GB GDDR6, Dual HDB Fans that's my graphics card found my reciept it says it can only take hdmi 2.0b so not sure if that means 2.1 won't work very confusing
