I'd be more concerned on what graphics card you have than what CPU. Your CPU is just fine for games and is a nice overclocker if you have the motherboard for it.

Core i7 4960X is a pointless waste of money considering the 4930k is far cheaper and also has an unlocked multiplier.

Unless you play Crysis 3. It is one of the few games that likes the extra cores of a 4930k.

I personally would keep the amd-8350 and A;put the money you was going to spend on a better gpu. B: Save the money. Just my opinion.

I would disagree with that as the 3930k still held its own pretty well against the 4770k in the THG Haswell review. Even the wins Haswell did get were so minor that absolutely nobody would notice without a benchmark in their face. Add the IPC performance of Ivy on top of what Sandy offered and you have a pretty potent chip . 4930k is the fastest all around chip you can buy for desktop. Is it worth the price? I would say hell no. I'd rather take the money saved and use it towards GPU. 😀
