What is the best memory I can get for...

Best memory to buy for this motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-MA785GMT-UD2H AM3 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

If it makes a difference, I want to game and movie edit with this system, and it will have a Phenom II x2 550 BE processor, Radeon 4870, 585W PS, DVDRW/CDRW combo drive, and whatever stock HD came in the HP a6130n. And, I plan on installing windows 7 64 bit.

What kind and how much do I need for the best performance?

Newegg has some 2x2gb ocz obsidian ddr3 1600 for $83.99 before $20 rebate. I've gotten all my rebates from newegg and frys. I won't pay a premium for memory. 4 gb is plenty for most applications. I've tried 6 gb; some folks use 8, but with prices the way they are right now, I wouldn't spend the extra $$.
