What is the best mid range graphics card/ GPU

Hi, i am building a budget gaming pc and I am willing to spend up to $230.00 on a GPU, but nothing less then $200.00. I am thinking about buying the r9 380 nitro 4gb and for the cpu a i5 4690 non k. I am wondering if there is one better to go with the cpu. Thanks!

P.S. Also I am wondering if a i5 4690 non k will bottleneck a r9 380 nitro 4gb?

i5 4690 non k will not bottleneck a r9 380 nitro 4gb.

4690K won't even bottleneck a 980ti.

What are the rest of your parts?
What types of games will you play.
One rule of thumb is to budget 2x the cpu cost for the graphics card.

You will find that with a $200-$230 budget, all cards in that range will perform similarly.
Differences take synthetic benchmarks to detect.
If you play only one game exclusively, look for specific benchmarks for that game.
Some games do better with nvidia, and some with amd.


I doubt that you would have any issue with a i5-4690 with any $200 graphics card.
But, if you are in the budget range of a i5-4690, you might as well spend a bit more for a i5-4690K or i5-6600k and plan on a decent overclock.
