What is the best monitor I should go for?

At this moment i have a 970 and i want to upgrade my monitor from a [censored] LG 21.5". And i have a problem of which one should i get. I am planning also to upgrade to two 970's in Sli.
I have quite a varied usage on here. I play normally BF and some strategy. But, in the summer. I edit my photographs of Weddings and events. Also i Write and research for college. So color and detail is important. And i do some minor Graphic Design. Also in the future when i have enough money i will go for the same monitor again to have dual displays.

This monitor is really nice, good for gaming: (get the 1440p one)

But if you want more "color accurate" or, I should say, more simple, this could be the way to go. Also great for running a dual monitor setup:

I use an LG 29UM67 60Hz 29.0" Monitor. If you like widescreens then this will be a great choice. I don't have a lot of experience with monitors but this monitor had the most beautiful display I have ever set my eyes on. It also has a split screen software so you can do multiple things at once.
