Both are good motherboards and both are for gaming and overclocking if you want to ROG themed board go for hero but in strix you will get the New RGB header and inbuild auro software

The hero doesn't work with aura sofware ? I want to build a system that work with aura sofware with rgb rams and graphics card

go with strix then it has 2 RGB headers and the board itself has RGB Led
Hero also has RGB Lightning AURA software But Strix got the new look Choice is yours
