Question What is the best motherboard with 6-8 ram slots for my system?

I was looking to upgrade my motherboard and include my extra ram sticks I have laying around. I wanted a motherboard with 6-8 ram slots so I can include the extra ram, but also one that is an improvement than my old Gigabyte GA Z170 HD3. I was looking at some 8 slot boards and the best I could find was the ASUS Prime X299-Deluxe II but im not sure about it. Mixing ram sticks is never recommended. Depending on how different the ram is it may not work

I am not mixing ram, it is all the same ram and it is all compatible so that will not be an issue. The main issue is that I don't know which motherboard is best.
