You'll have to upgrade your motherboard to get a Eight core CPU.

Only AMD FX-8xxx CPUs are octa core CPUs. They are socket AM3+ which is not compatible with socekt FM2.

Intel has an 8 core, and its on the 2011-v3 socket. Its called the i7 5960x. I know its new and it costs over a grand but weve known about it for months.

None the less AM2 and AM2+ sockets only support up to 4 cores.
