Hello guys ,

I was thinking about buying a xeon e3 1231 v3 for my gaming rig because you know , black Friday / cyber Monday . Anyway , what is the best period to buy new hardware ? I am also trying to get an r9 390 for the same rig .

Oh by the way if you have a better cpu for more or less the same price feel free to make a suggestion

If you are asking about deals, around holidays are often very good. In the U.S any time from Thanksgiving all the way through New Years is pretty hot, as lots of suppliers are trying to get rid of old stock.

In general though, the best time to upgrade is when you need to.
