Gigabyte SIV is absolute <Mod Edit> garbage and doesn't even work. Corsair Link only lets you control the fans on the liquid cooler. Any suggestions for a good program? Motherboard is Gigabyte Aorus X570 Master.

There is no universal best software to control the case fans plugged directly to the MoBo fan headers. Each software has it's limitations; be it not working properly, not giving enough customization or being overly complex to use.

Due to that, i'm using hardware control with my 3 PCs and their case fans, a proper fan controller to be exact. However, since you asked for a software, i have 2 suggestions:

1. Speedfan, link: https://www.almico.com/speedfan.php
Pros: works with almost all MoBos and their fan headers + offers a lot of customization.
Cons: very complex to use.

2. MoBo BIOS
Pros: works with all supported fans + easy to use.
Cons: level of customization depends on a MoBo.

I personally had no luck with Speedfan, it hasn't been updated since 2015, and it wasn't compatible with my Z390 motherboard. But when it works, it is a great free tool.

Instead I used Argus Monitor for a long time. Unfortunately it is only free (although with all features unlocked) for 30 days, and after that it cost around USD $10 a year.

It has a ton of features and settings, and there are pretty much no limitis to how you can setup fan curves and temperaturee sources (and combination of several simoultaneous temperature sources for each fan)

Like Speedfan, it takes a little patience to setup initially, but it is fairly simple, once setup.

I can highly recommend Argus Monitor.

However, I must admit, that I recently reverted to letting BIOS control my chassis fans, and to be honest, I'd recommend using BIOS instead of fan controller software, despite the fact, that I only had very positive experiences with the controller software.

So if your BIOS has decent fan control options,I'd try those first, before deciding on controller software for the fans
