Maybe. The Q9650 is not supported. The best op can do is a Q9550 which has been supported since bios Rev. V1.0A
The full board name is G45T/G43T-AM3 v:1.1
I dont know what this means (version 1.1) but ive checked system information and the bios in this board is year 2009 .

According to Intel, the g43 express chipset is bios compatible with the Q9650, however that's just the chipset itself, that's not ECS or Acer compliant, who use custom bios to include or deny certain cpus, usually based on higher grade models. HP, Dell, Sony, Lenovo all do it. They want you to spend more for the upgraded cpu model, not buy the cheap model and swap in the better cpu.

You could try the Q9650, but it's a 50/50 shot of working, the mobo either accepts the g43 chipset bios or it accepts the ECS bios for the G43T-AM3.

The Q9550 is almost as fast as the Q9650, 2.83GHz vs 3.0GHz so wouldn't be terrible, it's still one of, if not the strongest cpu supported by any bios version. Not all that expensive, I bought a Q6600 for $15, but still time and possibly frustration if the Q9650 isn't viable. Then you'd still have to purchase and wait for the Q9550, and sell or dump the Q9650.
